DESCRIPTION
In our circles "Nabore" is a name which needs no introduction. Joe has led countless championship Call of Duty teams since the game's inception and acted as a community figurehead throughout years of rules discussions and the advancement of Call of Duty as a professional title; perhaps most notably, he's been the catalyst to Team Pandemic's success in the franchise.
A member of the team since 2005, Joe has amassed more than $60,000 in cash prizes -- no small feat considering CoD was referred to as a 'secondary' competitive title for a long time (small prize purses, very few events). Of course, much of the credit for CoD's rise to mainstream esports status belongs to Joe.
2009 was truly his signature year. He led the team to yet another CEVO-P title, a TGL title, and the GotFrag Invitational title completing a sort of trifecta in which Pandemic would hold all major American championships simultaneously. His landmark win, however, would not come on American soil.
After three long weeks in Europe, Nabore and his teammates would bring home the team's first major international victory from the Antwerp Esports Festival and a respectable 3rd place finish in Denmark's The Experience LAN. After going in as underdogs and demolishing many of Europe's finest, they left as arguably most feared side in Call of Duty. He had once and for all proved that his team was deserving of mention as the \'best in the world.'
Despite his recent announcement to retire from playing competitively, Nabore will forever remain a centerpiece of the Call of Duty PC franchise and the Pandemic family. Though his focus now shifts to graduate school and 'real life,' one can expect that he'll never be too far away from the action.
