Team Pandemic - News - Pandemic.CoD Finalizes 2007 Roster

After a convincing CyberHub victory, Team Pandemic has decided to solidify its roster for 2007. Keith Hullenaar has decided to take a more inactive role with the team due to personal reasons. With that being said, Team Pandemic is proud to announce the addition of David “Rez” Rivard. David brings a vast amount of experience, skill and dedication to the family. David is world renown for his abilities with the scoped sniper rifles, but after Steve Halsor’s MVP performance at CyberHub with those weapons, David will be filling a bolter’s role for Pandemic. There may be a time or two where his scope abilities are utilized, but it will be map dependant.

David had these positive things to say about his new team, “I've been friends with Joe (Nabore) for a long time and since I already played with crzg and keith at the beginning of COD2 in Revelry, this was the best decision. I felt that I needed a team was taking the game serious. I was basically looking for a team that was mature, have a great attitude and show up to win. Since these things are what define Pandemic, I started talking to Joe about a month ago and here we are! I think their dedication to win makes them special. When they participate in an event or a LAN, they show up to win. I think they proved it this last weekend at CyberHub.”

Joe Amorosa, the team captain, also had some positive things to say, “Rez is clearly one the most experienced players to ever touch the game. I chose him because he is the most motivated and dedicated individual out of anyone to be selected. I am just glad that he is now on our side of the scoreboard.”

David is 20 years old from Montréal , Québec and has been competing in Call of Duty since the original. He most recently joined the rSports team and helped them to a second place finish at the CyberHub event. However, the majority of his career was spent leading the Canadian eGe team. Some of their accomplishments included two CyberHub championships, a first place in the Intel 5k Cup and various other Canadian LAN victories.

The team is looking to compete in all of the 2007 LANs that come up for Call of Duty 2. With rumors behind a possible addition to the World Series of Video Games, more CyberHubs, a DC-LAN appearance and many others in the works, the year for Call of Duty 2 will be 2007.
