E-Sports Entertainment has released their weekly power rankings for week five and both Pandemic Counter Strike and Team Fortress 2 teams were ranked third in their respective games.
From ESEA.com:
Counter Strike:
"Pandemic's rise to fame might be coming to a screeching halt. Excello is sure to put the hurting on them, Grt and all, simply because it seems like nothing short of Denzel could stop Excello right now, and if Loaded shows up with five guys ready to play, things might get rough. Though, Loaded has been a toss up for two seasons now so, as much as I'd like to see them get back into gear, I wouldn't quite bet on it."
Team Fortress 2:
"Pandemic has yet to play a match since we last checked in, so they're still sitting pretty with a 7-2 record as a near lock to make the postseason assuming they don't blow the rest of the season. With the way the other teams in the league have been coming on recently, though, that's not a possibility to discount, although it seems unlikely with the strength of Pandemic's play thus far. They'll face Loaded, another two-loss team, on cp_badlands soon and they'll need to establish their dominance there. After that the schedule gets a bit tougher with EG, Blight, and Complexity as their next three opponents. We'll get a better idea of how they compare to the other top teams there."
