BASHandSlash, brought in various CoD community members GaretJax, PST*Joker,and Pandemic's team captain Joe "nabore" Amorosa to discuss the recent release of the Call of Duty: World at War multiplayer beta released this past Tuesday. The roundtable begins with respective initial thoughts on the beta and then migrates down to the details.
Topics covered include the various graphic problems that came after installation, the strength of grenades, bolt action rifles, and other thoughts on various aspects of the beta. Amorosa, in particular, touches on the strength of the bolt action rifles in relation to health regeneration as an important part of the competitive community and trademark of the Call of Duty series.
Additionally, Joker and GaretJax weigh in on the current modding situation with the beta including differences between CoD4 and CoD5 with some being good and some disappointing. Regardless of their thoughts on the beta, however, the panel remains optimistic for CoD5's full release and the potential it can bring.
