Team Pandemic's newly appointed head hancho did a short interview with Amped eSports writer Brian Dunn.
Excerpt from www.ampedesports.com:
Amped: So what would you say is the organization's overall strategy to attract sponsors right now?
Lemley: We have allowed our brand to dictate how we attract sponsors. By this, I mean that when we were primarily a Counter-Strike brand, we invested as such and played that card to potential partners. In 2007, however, I think it is hard to argue that there is a larger, more successful 'multi-gaming' organization in the United States. Therefore, our strategy is as always - to play to our strengths. We feel that we have an opportunity to capture not only the hardcore gaming audience, but many mainstream gamers as well. The addition of more community-friendly games, such as World of Warcraft and even Guitar Hero 2 to our lineup, only gives us a larger reach at the end of the day. While our primary goal remains to bring home championships, we want to become the undisputed leader in American 'Gaming' in general.
Chris goes on to explain more about his vision for 2007 as well as touches on the WSVG and the Pandemic divisions. Interestingly enough the article does not feature a single picture of Lemley, but does feature one of our Guitar Heroine Kelly "Tipperqueen" Law-Yone.
