It has been almost a month since the first round of “The Ridiculously Long Lasting Stride Xfire Cup 2007,” where CS:S teams are competing not only for a total prize pool of $24,000, but also for years’ supplies of Stride gum.

On May 4th, the Stride Cup Semi-Finals will begin at 6pm EDT where the advancing teams, Complexity and EG, Team 3D and JMC will compete for $1000 in cash and a shot at the Finals on June 21st where more than $12,000 will be on the line. The Semi-Finals action will be broadcast on Xfire through an exclusive partnership with EGLN.

During the event from 6:00pm – 12:00pm EDT Xfire users will have a chance to participate in a “play with the pros” session in games CS 1.6, CS: Source, CoD2, Battlefield 2 and Battlefield 2142 with pro teams Pandemic, Turmoil, Check-Six, eGe, ENE, 20ID, HOT, cRucial, and many more! Xfire users that have added pro player accounts will also be eligible to win prizes including PC games, Stride gum, video cards, and monitors.
