Pregame: Next up, Badlands. Team Pandemic continues the ESEA season with two matches this week along with a third round playoff match in the Alienware tournament.
Pandemic has yet to give up a single round in the Alienware tournament and will hope to continue that streak against Dynamic on Monday, January 18th at 9:30PM EST.
Dynamic is a very strong team but I can't foresee a single situation in which Pandemic doesn’t come out winning. If all goes according to plan they will then play the
winner of Complexity and Blight in the fourth round of the tournament.
They will then go on to play their two ESEA matches, the first of which will be against Immortal 7 one hour after the match against Dynamic. I7 are a strong team, and dealt Pandemic a loss on ctf_turbine earlier in the season. This time around, Pandemic should have the advantage on a more commonly played map in cp_badlands.
Pandemic will then wrap up this week with their final match against Loaded on Wednesday at 10:30PM EST. If Pandemic wins both matches they will be sitting on
a guaranteed playoff spot, and on their way to Dallas to play in the LAN finals.
Also scheduled for this week is the makeup match against Complexity that was never played earlier in the season. We saw Justin dominant with the sniper on
koth_viaduct the first time around and he will hope to do it again against one of the best teams in the league.
