Pandemic.SC Week in Review: Nearly Unscathed
BWML:
This week Pandemic.SC continued its 5-0 streak in the Brood War Massacres League by beating the top Canadian team NrG without a single game lost. Since the BWML usuals weren’t there for play, the lineup turned out to be Kabal, KawaiiRice, Reimu, and Stryker, each winning their sets with a 2-0 score. Kabal, KawaiiRice, and Reimu are normally not played in this league, but their presence was surely welcomed.
Following these matches, NrG conceded the 2x2 match, letting Pandemic finish with a 5-0 score. After this very one-sided win, Pandemic.SC now stands alone at the top of the tables, with 7eveN following one point behind. This Saturday we will face off against the Avatars of Victory where a decisive win may clinch a playoff spot for the league.
Current Group Standings
Pandemic.SC stands at the top of their group with 20 points.
BWCL:
This week, Pandemic.SC faced off against top Czech team RotS in the Brood War Clan Liga. Needing a win to remain in top 3 contention, we certainly performed well to obtain a solid 5-1 victory. Most notably was the return of Aerials, who won his first match back with Pandemic with a score of 2-0 over Ondrasek from RotS.
Our other wins came from KawaiiRice, Sadist, Shad, and the team of Sun / Babo. Our only loss came from 2x2 team Babo / Skyless who seem to be struggling lately as a team in recent matches. Regardless, Pandemic.SC gets a solid win as the season is heading towards its final stride. This Sunday we play against the 4th place Polish team ZZZ.
