Team Pandemic - News - Pandemic Acquires CI, Welcomes L4D Division

Conway, Arkansas - February 26, 2009 -TeamPandemic, LLC. welcomes a new professional gaming division under its wings to compete casually in the widly popular new Valve title, Left4Dead.

Always ahead of the curve in competitive gaming, Team Pandemic is proud to announce its acquisition of the lineup formerly known as Common Infected. Notably, the team consists of some old-school faces hungry to prove that they can once again become champions in a brand new type of game. Lead by former Pandemic.CS and Pandemic.CSS member Grant “Griff” Hall, the team has been hard at work bringing their game to the next level.

Rounding out the lineup is former Pandemic.CS member Robert “cramblock” Couser ; former Agent member Mitch “psylynt” Graham; and a new face to competitive gaming, Adam “adma” Aten. “Playing as survivors seems natural to us due to our background in Counter-Strike,” says Hall. “We are working on improving our game on infected, and, with the creativity of players like psylynt, we are making swift progress in moving up the ranks.”

After making a splash as the relatively unknown 35th seed and taking down tournament favorites MoB Deep in the second round of the Infected Cup, the team proved that they are quickly becoming one of the top forces in the game. Couser had this to say about the team’s performance: “Things were tough after going down to the Tank on Blood Harvest 2, but the team stayed focused and we knew that we could turn the match around at any moment.” Pandemic was able to stop all four MoB Deep members from completing the finale, clinching the match in true comeback fashion.
