Team Pandemic is proud to announce that Steven "bluewolf" Anderson will be
representing Team Pandemic at the upcoming World Cyber Games United States Grand
Finals in Las Vegas on September 15th-17th. Steven will be playing the
popular Warhammer 40k: Dawn of War title. He is known as one of the top,
if not the best, Dawn of War players in the country following his WCG US Open
victory back in April.
Anderson has always specialized in competing in multiple platforms and many
different games. He has had success in Starcraft, Warcraft 3, Alien vs
Predator, F.E.A.R. and now Dawn of War. In 2001, Anderson took seventh at
the CPL Alien vs Predator World Championships. In 2003, he won a brand new
Alienware computer by being the "Best Overall Gamer" of the Ladder Season.
In 2005, Steven picked up Dawn of War and won the WCG Kentucky Regional that
earned him a right to play in the 2005 WCG USA Grand Finals in New York City.
Although he narrowly missed the trip to Singapore, Anderson built a strong
foundation of what would become a successful 2006 season. In December of
2005, Anderson took a break from Dawn of War and picked up the game F.E.A.R.
He ended up winning $2500 for a second place finish in the CPL Winter F.E.A.R.
Championship.
Steven's brother, Matthew "RushWizard" Anderson, also won his respective WCG US
Open Championship in Warcraft 3. With this, the Anderson brothers became
the first brother and brother combination to qualify in different games.
They hope to replicate this feat by both qualifying for the WCG Grand Finals in
Monza, Italy in October.
Please welcome Steven "bluewolf" Anderson to Team Pandemic and wish him luck
this upcoming weekend in Las Vegas!
