Team Pandemic - News - GotFrag Championship Grudge Match

Pregame:
What a week it's been in the TF2 community and more specifically for us here at Pandemic. Only days ago, we were celebrating as 'Pandemic' squeaked by iDemise by a 5-4 score in the winner bracket finals of the GotFrag Invitational. Two huge roster moves later, and we're pulling for the lower bracket champs now instead.

"It's a shame that we had to make the move this way, this week," said Chris Lemley of Pandemic. "I have full faith in the former iDemise squad though, and I hope my old boys have been working hard [a reference to the former Pandemic, now compLexity TF2 team]. We're going to give them everything we've got to try and make sure the title of '#1 in TF2' never leaves my organization."

It's going to be an uphill battle though, as that narrow loss last Friday means that the new Pandemic.TF2 will have to take two maps in a row in order to bring home top prize. Ironically, that includes a suite of products from Pandemic's major sponsor 'Razer'.

"I think they got their money's worth," joked Lemley of the gaming peripheral company's sponsorship of the event; either team who comes out on top will have been sporting Razer products throughout play.
