| Pandemic road trip to Montreal |

Bright and early today the Pandemic World of Warcraft team embarked on a rough journey to Canada, flying to New York before piling into a van together for an epic road trip to the cultural capital of our northern neighbors, Montreal.
There, David "Ohnoes" Atz, Brian "Caal" McPharlin, and Nathan "Kintt" Quinn, whose missing passport prompted the lengthy drive through scenic New York State, will take on the top World of Warcraft teams in the world in a bid for an ESL Global Challenge championship.
In Leipzig, Pandemic placed a respectable 6th overall, following it up with an improved 4th in Los Angeles just two weeks ago. There, the team felt they showed a lot of improvement, taking eventual tourney winners x6tence to a fifth game in two separate series, but they had yet to put it all together.
Montreal will be their chance to show they have, although the setting will be a bit different this time: the recent release of the 3.0 patch has forever changed the World of Warcraft metagame.
In the 7th episode of ArenaCast, team captain Quinn stated his belief that the changes could help Pandemic return to the medal podium thanks to nerfs against the overpowering Warrior, Warlock, Druid composition and offensive buffs that could give Pandemic's own Rogue, Priest, Druid build a little more oomph.
Whether that's the case will be a question for this weekend, and you'll be able to catch all the action here on http://www.teampandemic.net/ as Pandemic owner Chris Lemley will be present to document the trip after playing the role of chauffeur. In addition, Samuel "oPlaiD" Lingle is also making the trek, flying to Albany and boarding a bus for a six hour ride to the scenic Canadian city, so expect regular updates as the weekend progresses.
