Team Pandemic is proud to announce that its Counter-Strike division will be heading to Los Angeles, California this weekend for the Championship Gaming Series Western Live Qualifier. The event will be taking place at the The Bridge Cinema de Lux. The CGS qualifiers will be held inside a “Director’s Hall” theater at The Bridge which features extra-wide ultra leather seats. As with all Bridge theaters, the Director's Hall theaters are equipped with state-of-the-art wall-to-wall screens, Dolby EX Surround Sound and stadium seating.

Registration will take place on Friday at 4:30 PM PST and play will commence shortly thereafter.  The tournament will continue on Saturday night at 1:00 PM PST.

Qualifier Information
Through a process of qualifiers, selected players will receive salaried contracts to play in Championship Gaming Series events worldwide. Millions will be on the line over the course of the 2007 season. Each CGS Qualifier will incorporate all four Championship Gaming Series game titles: Counter-Strike: Source, Dead or Alive 4 for Xbox 360, FIFA 07 and Project Gotham Racing 3 for Xbox 360.

The official CGS Qualifier at The Bridge will feature all the CGS game titles May 11th and 12th . Over the two-day period, The Bridge will play host to one CS: Source tournament qualifying two teams, two FIFA Soccer tournaments qualifying four players, four PGR3 tournaments qualifying eight players, and a number of DoA4 tournaments qualifying four male and four female competitors. Qualifiers will receive a $500 travel stipend and a berth into the CGS Region 1 National Combine event to take place in June. All residents of Region 1 are eligible to participate, however registration is based on a first-come-first-serve basis, so register now!

In other news, Team Pandemic has reached an official agreement with United 5 on the release of Bobby "kEEN" Aihama.  Effective immediately, Aihama will report back to United 5.
