QPAD Announces Team Pandemic as Primary North American Launch Partner

Maumelle, Arkansas – April 23, 2007 – TeamPandemic LLC, one of North America’s hottest professional gaming teams, is pleased to announce QPAD as its latest corporate partner for the 2007 season. The Swedish based gaming accessory manufacturer is renowned throughout Europe for its professional mousing surfaces, most notably the award-winning QPAD|CT and QPAD|EC-R.

QPAD products provide precision, feel and functionality through a unique surface coating that ensures even the most detailed movements register with uncompromising accuracy. A generic surface manufacturer for twelve years, QPAD shifted its focus to eSports in 2005 and has since become solely dedicated to producing the best professional gaming surface available on the market. QPAD became wildly popular in Western Europe through successful sponsorships of community LAN centers and championship gaming events, gearing efforts towards both competitive and casual gamers alike. Among its most popular promotions is the ongoing “QTOUR,” a one-versus-one open tournament series hosted at live gaming events worldwide. This tournament has become the premiere one-versus-one Counter-Strike event in the world.

Through continued success in the eastern hemisphere, QPAD now sets its sights on expansion into America. Formerly, Americans would have found it very difficult to obtain QPAD product from within the United States. In conjunction to their partnership with Team Pandemic, however, QPAD has also secured a deal with Fremont, California distributor ASI to finally bring their product to domestic vendors. While you can expect to see QPAD product available soon at a variety of online retailers, Pandemic will be bringing you the lowest cost possible on all QPAD surfaces and accessories at the team’s newly launched pro-shop. This site will be released in a few days and you can be among the first in the country to own one of the world’s finest gaming pads.

Team Pandemic will be celebrating its newest partnership by running a series of online launch promotions effective immediately. In honor of the QTOUR, Pandemic will be hosting a Counter-Strike 1.6 Aim Map Tournament to be held on the QPAD Aim Map under a similar rule set as the popular 1v1 Euro series. For Call of Duty 2, a shootout will also be held on Pandemic’s very own CoD aim map. Winners from each contest will receive prizes from the first shipment of Q product, including QPAD|CTs and other quality QPAD and Team Pandemic merchandise.
